Kutsorona

Im designing those new characters, but with my wrist hurt, i cant really draw em yet.

Just a Quick Note: A scene came to mind, when the character Kutsorona is introduced. The first time he shows off his powers, we see a close up, and in slow motion we see the flames rising from his body, followed by a quick burst of fire, that engulfs him. After the fire clears up, we see that his hair changes from black to orange/red.

I also came up with a group. Its.... a weird group. I think theres gonna be 5. They met under unusual circumstances, but they all had one thing in common: they were different. They each adopted a name, fitting to their circumstances. Not much is known about them, their stories, goals and powers are a mystery.

  • Psycho -Dont be fooled by his name, this young sadist is actually quite a gentleman. He politely asks how a person would like to be gutted. He respectfully asks permission before brutally slicing a person in half, and then apologizes for making a mess. Psycho as he is called, is completely loyal to Darko.
  • Sicko - A truly disturbing young man. He dresses in a surgeon/emo inspired fashion, sporting elegant clothes under a blood soaked apron, gloves and a surgical mask. He carries around a large blood soaked Butcher knife, as well as some small rusty knives. His story is the darkest one. His name fits him well, he finds pleasure in gore and sexuality. His activities include mass murders and rape. He doesn't seem to have any actual gifts, he is merely a skilled fighter. So many adjectives can be used to describe him: Sadist, sociopath, psychopath, and perhaps most unsettling, Masochist.
  • Darko - The most calm and collected of the group, considered the leader. He dresses in an elegant gothic style. He is the most mysterious of the group, and his motives are not clear. The rest of the group are loyal to him, and follow his word as law.
  • Schizo -"Madness" pretty much sums up this young man. He is a powerful telekenetic who, ironically, suffers from extreme schizophrenia. The severity of his condition is so high, that he must cover his right eye to avoid seeing mirages created by his mind, his left eye gauged out in one of his "moments" Shizo relies on his other senses. When he removes his blindfold, his mind starts warping what he sees, driving him insane, and showing him things that arent really there. This does not mean his other senses are immune though, just ask the voices that constantly ask him to kill, or the hands that reach from under the ground and try to drag him to hell. His telekenesis manifests his hallucinations into reality. He is constantly haunted by "demons" inside his head. Darko can somehow lessen the hallucinations, for which Schizo is eternally loyal to him.
  • Phobia and Panic - Two Ttwin sisters, presumed to be around 13. Phobia can tap into a persons mind and make them go through their worst fears and troubles. When Phobia enters a persons mind, they are locked, trapped inside their worst moments and fears. Panic can strike people with sudden attacks of intense anxiety, pain, fear, arousal and other psychological problems. Their powers manifest subconciously, resulting in that their mere presence causes discomfort in people. Prolonged exposure to them can cause madness. Panic was once raped by Sicko, who being a masochist, found pleasure in Panic's powers. This further traumatized the alread unstable girl, who lost all confidence and will. Phobia is the dominant of the two, usually having to make decisions for her sister.

Characters

First of all, I renamed the blog OTP: Experimental, and I shall use that name for the anime for now. Ill see the response it gets (from Ste-I mean....JEN DARKNIGHT, since shes pretty much my consultant on shit like this....)

OTP has a nice ring to it.... unlike all the other crap I had come up with. The :Experimental subtitle fits for two reasons, one, the characters ARE experiments, and two, I wanna try lots of things in this story.

From what I see, OTP has room for a lot of characters, and I keep coming up with more, so Im gonna try to fit in as many as I can. But I also dont want to overload it....this is hard. (thatswhatshesaid)

Im also trying to work out the major plots, but ive been working on Borderline mostly.

On with Characters:

These characters seem like mentors to our protagonists, but this was not my initial intention. They wont all be mentors, but they will influence their respective counterparts in some way.

* Klaus - Klaus is a 22 year old electrokinetic. He is one of the extremely few known electrokinetics. He has complete mastery of his powers, able to control enormous amounts of electricity with ease. Yadow looks to him for knowledge on how to control the power, but Klaus ignores him. In retrospect, hes..... kinda like Braulio! (O.O) HOLY CRAP! Hes the new Braulio!!!!
Yup......"Brawly" is gone. Klaus is the new guy. All is right with the world.

* Kutsorona - a 19 year old pyrokinetic with a bad attitude. Hes a total prankster, and enjoys making fun of others. Hes quite skilled, but can be easily fooled. He gets frustrated quickly if things dont go his way, ironically making him a hothead *laughs*

* Jack-o - 25 years old, and Kutsoronas brother. He is also a pyrokenetic, but is skilled in many other forms of combat. He is stronger and more skilled than Kutsorona, and constantly makes fun of him. He is very laid back and only acts when necessary. He likes to trick other people. He is an extremely powerful fighter, at Klaus' level. Jack is actually his second name, his first name is unknown. Also, no one except Kutsorona knows what the o stands for. His Initials are K.J., showing that his first name starts with a K as well.

I got some more, but im still working on em.

I also made some changes to Yadow's story.

As of now, hes a natural gifted, the artificial part being that he could not control his powers, hence the need for the regulator. One of the requirements for the regulator to work, was the replacement of blood with the lithanox. This enables Yadow to hold a charge. This is different to other electrokinetics, in that they can only produce electricity, and some can store it for a limited time. Yadow's situation allows him to store a large amount of electricity for an indefinite time. This makes sense so far, much better than my previous versions. Although, i WOULD like Yadow to have gotten his powers by pure accident, so thats still a possibility. The regulator is still going, all I want to change is the method by which he acquired the powers.

Also, the story still seems bland, Im thinking of a way to make it intersting, for example, Yadow didnt WANT his powers, and adding other stuff to the protagonists stories to make em more interesting. I also need them to have a goal, a place to get to.

Fiction's gotta make sense

Been thinking of the premise of the story. I retrospect, my justification for the artificial gifted kinda killed one of the most important parts of the story: How could a person born from a lab and such have an interesting personality? I spent all day thinking bout that, and came up with a solution: They werent born in a lab. They were regular children, just tampered with. This also allows me to better explain how the powers work. Science fiction doesn't have to make sense, just has to make you THINK it does.

Here I'll explain how the powers work in nature, and how they were replicated. (Descriptions taken from here as they sum them up in better words than I ever could.)

* Pyrokenesis - the creation and manipulation of Fire using the mind. The body is able to produce large amounts of heat that can be focused to set fire to air itself, and thus create small fire-balls etc.

With training, a person can make their flames hotter, turn into a human-torch, make fire into waves and streams and also create beams.

Known users:
  • Angel (artificial). Angels possessed a rare blood type, ideal for one of the Gifted Program's branches, pyrokenesis. He was entered in the program at 8 months old, while his body was still developing. His cells could be altered to work at a more accelerated rate than normal, producing large amounts of heat at will.

Aquakenesis - Aquakenesis is the the creation and manipulation of water using the mind. The body takes moisture as well as Hydrogen and Oxygen from the Atmosphere and allows the user to expell this through his/her pores. A side-effect of the ability is that the user can survive long periods of time without water.

If an experienced aquakenetic is close to or surrounded by water, he/she can manipulate the water. Some aquakenesis can also possess the ability of cryokenesis, which is the ability to collect water-vapour in the air and withdraw it's heat, causing an area of the user's body/ area near the user to be covered in ice/freeze.

Known users:

  • Steph (natural) - Steph is a skilled aquakenetic, also capable of cryokenesis.

Dark Matter Manipulation - Dark Matter is the mysterious matter that populates most of the universe, dark matter cannot be detected by most methods: it does not emit heat, cold, or radiation, and yet has numerous effects. Some people can unexplainedly control Dark matter, even summon it into existence.

There have been only 5 known cases of Dark Matter manipulation. Dark Matter manipulation is an ability believed to originate from Vampires, an extinct race , said to be the most powerful creatures on earth. Vampires are thought to be a myth, as there has been no evidence of these creatures.

Dark matter has various properties, it can change gravity, and even move through time and space.

Known Users:
  • Iban (natural)- He was born with limited control over Dark Matter, killing his parents and most of his neighborhood at age 5 by accidentally creating a black hole that obliterated everything in the area. He was entered in the Gifted Program at age 5, and was tampered with to suppress his powers. While it is unknown how he controls it, it was learned that his thoughts had a role in its control. He can summon dark matter to alter gravity, and can to an extent create portals that absorb blasts, impacts, or objects.
  • Mary (artificial)- Mary was injected with Vampire DNA taken from a fossil before birth

Mental powers - The ability varies, a user can have the ability of persuasion, illusion, telepathy, etc... or various at once. It is the most sought after power, it is rare, and even rarer is a person who can use it effectively. Most telekenetics don't know they possess the ability, or simply dont know how to use it.

Types of mental powers:

* Persuasion - This ability allows the user to make another sane person follow their commands. Use of the ability usually involves a darkening of the eyes and a grainy voice. The power can be resisted by strong minds and it also depends on the confidence of the user. This ability allows the user to make another sane person follow their commands. The power can be resisted by strong minds and it also depends on the confidence of the user.

* Telekenesis - Telekenesis is the ability to move objects with the mind. The ability usually requires small physical movements like pointing and sweeping for accuracy. The strenght of telekenesis depends solely on the mind. If one is focused and clear minded, ones telekenetic powers are stronger. If a person is distracted or their mind is clouded, their telekenesis weakens.

* Illusion - llusion is the ability to alter light patterns with the mind and disguise physical objects with complex illusions. It takes a skilled and strong-minded person to see through these Illusions, but a skilled user can make his/her images in-penetrable. The ability also allows the user to manipulate the sight of others. The user does not actually alter light itself (for that would make it Elemental) but alters the way targets percive light.

* Telepathy - elepathy allows the user to controll the minds of others, altering their perceptions and being able to read their minds. They can also plant thoughts in peoples heads and find out information about their genetics.

Note: This ability allows the user to reach into the minds of others to find out how to use their powers. This only works for Mental powers.

Electrical Manipulation - Electrical Manipulation is the creation, manipulation and absorbtion of Electricity. Includes many abilities, such as being able to absorb Electricity and create it. The body develops a new type of cell that attracts and repels Electrons, and large focusses of these allow the user to take total controll over Electricity in many different ways. It can be made into force fields, bolts, arcs, and balls as well as being able to seperate atomic bonds and fuse them. The body will also work as a kind of electromagnet over conducters.

  • Yadow
Regular boy, grew up in a midclass town. At age 8 was abducted by the Government. Apparently he possesses a rare blood type, which was suitable for a Government Project. He was part of the Artificial Gifted Program. His body was slowly tampered with.

Electrical manipulation is also a tricky ability to recreate. The body is only used to a small amount of electricity, and cannot simply get used to it, as opposed to cryonekesis and pyrokenesis.

Due to previous failures, some special steps were taken to ensure control on the subject Yadow.
First, he was periodically injected with a substance which included elements like lithium and cadmium. This was done to make his body accept it. At age 11 his heart was replaced with a powerful electrical regulator. This regulator was wired to his brain. During the surgery, his blood was drained and replaced with a stronger batch of the substance he was previously injected with. A "battery" was placed next to the regulator, and some metal was attached to the bones in his fingers, elbows and cranium. The surgery laster a total of 60 hours, almost 3 days. After the surgery, he was placed in a coma for 3 months. When he awoke, he short circuited the entire medical wing of the building. It was clear that the operation was a success, Yadow was the first documented case of a successful artificially created Bioelectrical Human.

The regulator and the lithanox replaced his heart and blood respectively. Yadow was now a human battery. The lithanox is a substance that can contain a massive amount of electricity. His blood cells adapted to the lithanox in place of blood. The cells now fitted the requirements for electrical manipulation, as the lithanox altered them, allowing them to attract and repel Electrons. The regulator acts as a heart, charging and pumping the lithanox through his body, providing energy for for his regular bodily functions, but allowing him to manipulate electricity. Since the regulator is wired to his brain, Yadow can indicate the amount of energy he wants it to provide. When he commands it to release a high amount of energy, it is drawn to the metal in his arms, which then discharge, effectively allowing him to shoot electrical blasts. These blasts can either be released concentrated, to deal greater damage, or dispersed, to cover a large area. Although the generator allows Yadow to create his own electricity, the amount it can generate in a day is limited. The battery placed next to his stomach allows him to store a large amount of electricity, either from the regulator (which takes or releases energy from the cells), or from an external source. Yadow always keeps the battery full, in case he gets exhausted or he reaches his limit, so he can use the stored energy.

Although his body has been conditioned to withstand electrical currents constantly going through his body, it can only take so much. His body is used to the amount of energy the generator produces, but it can be damaged by an external source of electricity if it has a higher voltage.

Hi there! I'm Yadow! You may also know me as Yadowshadow, Keith-Kid, or YadowKeith, depending on the site.

This blog is one of the blogs I will use to work on my stories. This blog shall be dedicated to my story No Title/Project 78.

This is my original, and main ANIME idea. Been working on it for quite some time. It's changed plots considerably. About 5 different plots.... Anyway, Its characters are based on me and my friends.

So far only one thing is for sure in No Title/Project 78 is that there are people who exhibit special abilities. These people are called "gifted"

The main cast consists of a team of "gifted" initially under the custody of the government. Some of them are natural gifted (their abilities came naturally) (Iban, Brawly, Vivi, Alex, Gabe) and others are government experiments attempting to recreate these situations (Yadow, Angel, Steph, Geo, Mary)

They are given the task to pursue and neutralize gifted individuals abusing their abilities, meaning hunting them down, and either killing them or bringing them back to their base.

After some time in the service with the government, they attempt to escape after they discover a shocking truth. They break out of their base, attempting to deal as much damage as possible to the government, which never suspected treason from them as they were loyal for years.

Now they are on the run from the government, who constantly unleashes more "projects" to catch them. The groups escape has many consequences, like trouble inside the government, and the escape of other projects, among them the extremely dangerous #13, which the government has no knowledge it escaped.

Along their way, they meet the brothers Alex and Gabe, and the mysterious Brawly, who is extremely strong. Also, the group desires to fit into normal society, but they soon discover this can never happen.

  • Yadow- 14. An artificial gifted. He was created as a human generator, able to produce almost unlimited amounts of electricity, but his boy can only withstand so much. He considers himself the leader of the group, though they think other wise. He is good friends with Angel and everyone else, though there seems to be a rivalry between him and Geo. He helps the others with their own problems, and they usually take advantage of him. He ans Steph came up with the plan to escape the government.

  • Angel- 15. An artificial gifted. A pyrokenetic, he can create and manipulate fire. His body works at an increased rate, constantly at high pressures, which has the side effect of making his body resistant to things which would obliterate a normal human. He is an idiot, never taking anything seriously. He is best friends with Geo.

  • Steph - 15. An artificial gifted. She is a Cryokenetic, meaning she can produce low temperatures, giving her the ability to produce ice and freeze objects. She has tremendous physical strength, which she constantly brags about. She is extremely arrogant and proud, and always wants things her way. She was produced by reversing the process used to create Angel, which is why they exhibit different powers using the same approach of changing temperatures. She is usually the one that makes the decisions, through she refuses to call herself the leader, saying that she doesn't care about any of them. She is best friends with Mary, and seems motherly protective of her.

  • Mary - An artificial gifted. She was created by mixing human DNA with the DNA of a Vampire, and extinct race of gifted, known to be among the strongest. Since vampires are extinct, the extent of her powers is unknown, or if her powers are even close to that of real vampires. Since she is a hybrid, her nature is unstable, and she is usually depressed. It it believed she can sense negative emotions from others, which would explain her expressions. She can manipulate Dark matter to a great extent, though it is unknown if this is a vampire ability, or a result of her hybrid DNA.
  • Geo - An artificial gifted, he is part of the mysterious Geovann Project. He is a telekenetic, able to manipulate objects with his mind. His ability gives him great intelligence, able to decipher and learn numerous facts in a manner of seconds. His intelligence has given him a bored outlook on life, as he says: "When you know everything, life loses its mystery....and the fun..."
  • Iban - A natural gifted, though his powers were suppressed by the government. He has the peculiar ability to control Gravity by manipulating Dark Matter. This made him accidentally kill his parents at a young age, severely traumatizing him. Since his powers are dangerous (he summons much more dark matter than he can control) the government tampered with his mind, traumatizing him even further. His powers can create individual gravitational fields, but because of the government tampering, he cannot use his powers like Mary does.

  • Brawly - Absolut A mysterious young man. It is unknown if he is a natural or artificial gifted. He is extremely strong, exhibiting a power called Absolut. The nature of this power is unknown, but he seems to have numerous abilities. There seems to be quite a few secrets about him, and his reasons are shrouded in secrecy.

* Chibi - It's a surprise....

Also, some secondary characters:

  • Val - A natural gifted, she lived most of her life as a normal girl. At age nine, she started exhibiting strange characteristics. She is a ghost child, a "half-dead" human who can use spiritual energy. Compared to other cases of ghost children, she is arguably weak, her powers only covering phasing and invisibility, though she later discovers more abilities.

  • Alex & Gabe - Two natural gifted. They are orphan brothers, without a place to live, they are nomads. Gabe tends to wander off, while Alex always lose track of him. They wander inside the Government Base, passing by the multiple security systems by pure accident.

- Elite-

A group similar to the main characters. Considered the government's "elite". Although they are a team, they never act like it, each relying solely on their own abilities.

  • 1. Ren - A natural gifted. The leader, a young man with pink hair, who wears a small skeleton mask at times, and pink clothes with mech gear.People usually make fun of him because he has a girl's name, not to mention his love of pink clothing. Yadow usually makes gay jokes about him, which angers him. Although he may seem strange, he is a very strong fighter. He can turn his body into a strange crystal like element, almost as hard as diamonds, and can produce large amounts of it. 2. Kagami - A tall, black haired woman. A natural gifted. She is arrogant and proud, constantly making fun of her opponents and teammates alike. She is a natural gifted, with an extremely advanced mind, she can create extremely complex machines from simple materials by considering their every possible use and powering them with her own energy. It seems the Yadow experiment is based on people like this, although Yadow can produce a much larger amount of energy, Kagami has excellent control of her energy, and does not waste any of it.
  • 2. Kaori - A Big strong young man, an artificial gifted. He was implanted with a powerful engine, located in his torso, that sends out intense sound waves. He has special ampifiers in his torso, hands and feet, allowing him to direct the sound waves to a specific point. The waves he emits cause powerful sonic booms, with higly destructive properties. The center amplifier can create a high frequency boom, the ones on his hands emit smaller, more concentrated blasts, and the ones on his feet can be used to cause earthquakes and give him the ability to leap very high. His body has been conditioned to be highly resistant, so the sound waves and vibration do no affect him.
Geovann Project

The geovann project is the main branch of the government's Superhuman experiments. The purpose of this project is to experiment with Telekinesis, the ability to manipulate objects with the mind. This ability would give the user a near unlimited amount of powers, including copying other gifted's abilities. Unlike other gifts, which stem from evolutionary changes in the body, telekinesis stems from the mind, so creating it artificially is extremely difficult, as well as expensive. To date, there have been 4 subjects: Veronica, Geo, Vivian, and Pao. The Geovann Project is the result of Dr. Ellis' research on the human mind. She is the head of the project, and considers the subjects as her children, which is why she named them herself, instead of giving them a government Id number.

* Veronica - The first subject of the Geovann Project. The result of 3 years' research, she was an extremely powerful telekinetic, able to manipulate any object with her mind. She mixed her telekinesis with a rough gihting style, using her abilities to greatly improve her physical attacks. She was deemed a failure for unknown reasons, but successful enough that the government would continue funding the project. She died during unknown circumstances a few years ago.

* Geo -(description above, in the main characters section) He was the second subject of the Geovann project. Considered a much more stable subject, he has extensive telekinetic abilities, but at the cost of using up his mana, the energy used by the body. This means that everytime he uses his powers, his life force is drained. This was one of the problems faced in the previous subject Veronica, so to compensate, his life force was extended, meaning that if Geo did not use his powers, his life span would be about 300 years.

* Vivian - The third subject of the Geovann Project. A young 14 year old girl with a permanent smile on her face Considered a success because the Energy comsumption problem that the other two faced is resolved, she is able to use her powers without worrying about her life force being affected. She is a master weapons handler, incorporating her telekinesis and weapons to create an unique and extremely effective fighting style. Her speed and stamina make her a worthy foe, able to take on over 7 gifted people at once. However, her telekinetic abilities are below Geo and Veronica's levels, which is why she compensates by using weapons in the first place. She is completely loyal to the government, and believes in their philisophy of absolute justice.

* Pao - The latest subject of the Geovann Project, considered to be a total succes. She is usually expressionless. Like previous subjects, she is a telekinetic. She is considered a perfect beingHer power is extremely high, rivaling that of Brawly's. Her reasons for obeying the government are not clear, as she could clearly pose a threat to them. The government holds her in high regard, and consider her an ace in the hole. The government does not question her loyalty, and it seems their is a dark history between her and her brother. She is usually polite to everyone, even asking for permission to her opponents before killing them, although she shows an instant dislike of Yadow, which she constantly complains about. Not an actual member of Team Guillotine, she is assigned to join them.
